Do you fill growlers from other breweries?
Yes, we fill all official 64-oz. growlers and 32-oz. howlers whether they were purchased from our brewery or not. We do sell our own growler or howler if you do not bring your own.
How long does a growler or howler keep?
We recommend that growlers and howlers be opened and consumed within 72 hours. Once opened the beer quickly begins to deteriorate in flavor so we recommend a 24 hour window of drinking the beer once the seal has been broken.
Can I drink my growler or howler in the brewery?
No, growlers and howlers are to go only and cannot be opened inside the brewery or on the patio.
Can I bring in outside beer?
No, you may not bring in outside alcohol of any kind.
Can I bring my dog?
We accommodate dogs on our outside patio and have fresh water changed daily for your canine friends. However only service animals are allowed inside the taproom or brewhouse. ALL dogs must be attended by owners and leashed.
Do you have WiFi?
Yes, we have free WiFi. Please ask our friendly beer-tenders for the password.
Can I reserve the taproom and/or table for a private party?
At this time we’re currently not holding private parties in our taproom. Please call our taproom to give our staff a heads if your party decides to come in! Thank you.
Is your brewery handicapped accessible?
Yes, while this is no ramp onto our deck from the bike path our front entrance, restrooms and top portion of our deck are accessible.
What are you doing to be a sustainable brewery?
Our brewery was designed with efficiency in mind. For example, our chilling water is reclaimed for reuse in the brewing process, greatly reducing energy and water waste. All of our spent grain is picked up by a local farmer who then feeds it to their cows. In the taproom we don’t use disposable cups and serve food from small, local producers, greatly reducing transportation and processing.
Where else can I find your beers?
Our beers are sold on tap at a variety of bars and restaurants in the Dayton, Columbus and northern Cincinnati area. Six-pack cans of our beers are now sold at select grocery stores and specialty stores. Visit this page for the full list.
Do you have gluten-free beer?
No, all of our beer contains gluten.
Do you brew all the beer you serve in the taproom?
Yes, we brew all of the beer served in the taproom, unless it is specifically noted otherwise. All our beer is produced right on-site in our adjacent brewhouse.
Can you ship me your beer?
No, we cannot ship our beer directly to customers.
Can Yellow Springs Brewery support my local non-profit organization?
